Mr. Rohan Suppiah

Rohan spent 20 years in the finance industry as a financial analyst at multinational firms before making the switch to focus on providing mental healthcare. He therefore brings a lot of real-world experience to his counseling practice. While being able to provide counseling across a broad range of issues, he has particular interests in areas such as:

  • Men’s issues (Rohan’s keen focus here is based on studies showing how men are an under-served segment of mental health)

Empathy is one of the most important elements in a therapeutic alliance. In the framework of counseling, it is about the counselor being able to see the client’s world as they see it. Rohan strongly believes in helping the client to overcome issues and explore the best positive outcome using client-centred therapy with unconditional positive regard and genuine listening. This is one of the key foundations from which all lives can change and improve.
